Matt Dipaolo, Novi, Mich. posts a strong 71 (146.5 net) on Sunday for $5,000.00, in the Tour Championship at Nicklaus' Santa Lucia River Club. Michael Utz was second (148.0) for $1700 and Murray Miller was third (150.0) for $1100. Tommy Schaff, followed for $1,050.00. Then Tim O'Neal, for $1,000.00. Schaff fired a great 72 on Sat with constant winds of 25-30 mph. The winds let up to about 15 on Sunday.
Rocky Kinsey, Greenville, Fla. holds on with 146.5 net, for $4,500.00, to win by one half stroke at Reunion Resort Nicklaus Course. Second was Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga at 147 net for $1,400. Third was Tim O'Neal, Savannah, at 148 net for $1,100. Kinsey first joined the IGTA in 2005 part time and gains his first win with pars on 17 and 18.
Rocky Shipes, Johns Creek,Ga. goes low at 136.5 net, for $4,000.00, in the IGTA Players Championship. Scott Yancy, III, St Louis, Mo.was 2nd again, 3 strokes back for $1200.00. Tied for 3rd at 144.5 was Donovan Daniels, Aiken, SC, and Stephen Grant, Dover, England good for $950.00 each. Rocky pulled away from the field with a two under par front nine under near perfect conditions at Southern Hills Plantation Club.
Murray Miller, DeLand, Fla. wins the IGTA Points Championship for $3,000.00, with a third in theTour Final. Scott Yancy III was 2nd for $1500. and Skylar Forney was 3rd for $1000. Prizes paid for the Top 10 in Points.
NIT Championship won by Chinbat for $10,000.00 at The Conservatory.
Two Tour Veterans have Career Scores at The New ChampionsGate CC.
Leo Coates II, Sunrise, Fla gained his sixth IGTA Tour victory for $4,000.00 His score of 136.5 was his lowest since joining the Tour in 2001. In second place was Murray Miller, Deland, Fla. also with a career low of 140.5 for $1,300.00. Murray has been with the Tour since Feb. 2002. Third place for $1,100.00 went to Amga Chinbat,Ulaanbatar, Mongolia whose game shows continued improvement each month. James Strickland, Clermont, Fla was fourth for $1,100.00. Scott Yancy III, St Louis, Mo, Brooks Ashcraft, Monticello, Ark and Gabriel Menjivar, DeLand, Fla were also in the money.
Great Competitors go to Playoff at North Hampton G.C. after Net 145.0
David Morland IV, Palm Coast, Fla made a great recovery on the second playoff hole, and then won on the third over Tim O'Neal, Savannah, Ga. The victory was for $4,000.00 and second was $1,200.00. Five players were battling down to the final two holes on this demanding course. Murray Miller, DeLand, Fla and Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga tied for third for $1,050.00 and $1,000.00. Natalia Ghilzon, Windsor, Can. finished fifth with Raul Perez, Fairburn, Ga in sixth.
Open Championship at Waldorf Astoria Won by Rocky Justice by Five strokes with 140.0 Net.
Rocky of Gainesville, Fla opened with two birdies on Sunday and never looked back. His 78-75 net 140.0 was his career best and his 2nd win this year. At 145.0 there was a tie for second betweeen Kevin Jones, Orlando, Fla and Patrick Murakami, Honolulu, Hi. for $1,350.00 and $1,250.00. Stephen Grant, Dover, Eng was fourth for $1,000.00, he was medalist on Saturday with 70. Jim Roche, West Palm Bch, Fla. was fifth for $800.00 and Dawit Proctor, Winter Garden, Fla. sixth for $500.00. Natalia Ghilzon, Windsor, Ont, Can, Tristan Seitz, Ocala, Fla and Murray Miller, DeLand were also in the money.

Ghilzon of Windsor, Ont, Can, posted even par 72 on Sunday for first prize of $4,000.00. Her Net 139.0 was her career best with IGTA. Tied for second at 141.5 was Stephen Grant, Plantation, Fla for $1,325.00 and Travis Lewis, Lake Mary, Fla. for $1225.00. Bill Currence, Deltona, Fla finished fourth for $1,100.00. Jonathan Shasha, Jupiter, Fla, Mike O'Brien, Palm Bch Gardens and Kevin Jones, Orlando were in the money for $800.00 thru $250.00.
Travis Lewis' Strong Finish Provides a 3.5 Stroke Victory at ChampionsGate.
Travis of Lake Mary, Fla, playing some of his best golf in four years finished with 76 and net 143.5 to win $4,000.00. This was his second win on the International Course in three years. Tied for second at 147.0 was Natalia Ghilzon Windsor, Ont, Can, and James Strickland, Clermont, Fla.for $1,050.00 each. Finishing fourth was Leo Coates, ll, Sunrise, Fla for $700.00 at 149.0 net. Albano Valentino, San Juan, Argentina was fifth for $300.00 and Bill Currence, Deltona was sixth for $200.00..
Javier Sanchez Wins $4,000.00 in the 2016 Opener at The Champions Golf Club.
Javier of Fayetteville, Ga, posted a 68-69 for a net 141.5 to win by 3 strokes over James Roche, W. Palm Beach , Fla and Justin Herrema, Grand Rapids, Mich. Second tie was $1,250.00 each. Fourth was Justin Peters, Stuart, Fla. for $1,000.00. Then Dawit Proctor, Winter Garden, Fla. was fifth followed by Tal Johnson, Davenport, Fla sixth and Sean Bosdosh, Clarksburg, Md.in Seventh.
Maurice Allen Wins $4,000.00 at Harmony Golf Preserve for his First Tour Victory
Maurice, Pine Hills, Fla posted one under par Net each day for142.5 and a victory by 0.5. Second was a tie with Brian Sharrock, Southport, Eng for $1,250.00 and Billy Green, Waterford, Mich. for $1,050.00. Fourth place tie was Sly LeBlanc, Georgeville, Qbc, Can and Murray Miller, Deland, Fla. Also in the money Albano Valentino, San Juan, Argentina and Javier Sanchez.
Santa Lucia River Club Tests the Field with 40+ Winds and a 153.0 Victory
George Perry, Fairfield, Ala. posted a 71 on Sunday for $4,000.00, after the low Net was 78.6 on Saturday. He topped the field by four strokes on Sunday. Murray Miller, Deland, Fla was second for $1,200.00 and third was Stephen Grant, Dover, England for $1,100.00 with low gross on Saturday of 79. The wind was constant but eased on Sunday. Also in the money was a Mike Finsterle, Houston, Tex, David Healy, Port St Lucie and Lucas Garces, Jacksonville.
Shepherd Archie goes Wire to Wire to Win IGTA NIT Spring Championship for $8,000.00 First Prize at Timacuan GC Shepherd of Augusta, Ga. gained his first Professional victory with two solid rounds to net 140.0 for the win. Albano Valentino, San Juan, Argentina was second at 142.0 for $3,000.00. Third was Dawit Proctor, Winter Garden,Fla. with a 143.0 for $1,800.00 and Blaine Bunch, Savannah, Ga was fourth at 145.0 for $1,200.00 and Robin Byrd, Austin, Tex, fifth for $1,100.00. Murray Miller, DeLand, Fla sixth for $1,000.00 followed by Tristan Seitz, Jonathan Shasha and Leo Coates II also cashing checks.
Montrele Wells gains First Professional Win at Cherokee Run
Montrele, Columbia, S.C. played steady for two days to Net 148.5 on the challenging course for the $4,000.00 prize. Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga and Todd Childers, Buford, Ga. tied for second place for $1,075.00 each and fourth, at Net 149.5, was David Sellers, Cumming, Ga, for $1,000.00. Also in the money was Michael Butler, Savannah, and Albano Valentino, San Juan, Argentina
Maurice Allen Wins $7,000.00 with Two Sub Par Rounds at Reunion Resort
Maurice Allen, Pines Hills, Fla recorded 68.9 - 70.8 for Net 139.5 for the 3.5 stroke victory. Second place at 143.0 was a tie between Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga and Doug Smith, Columbus, Ohio. with each winning $1,550.00. Fourth was Leo Coates, II, Sunrise, Fla for $1,050.00 and Natalia Ghilzon, Windsor, Ont, Can in 5th for $1,000.00. Also, in the money was Don Bell, Pt Orange, Fla, Stephen Grant, Plantation,Fla, Gary Zarzycki, Ottsvile, Pa and Rocky Justice, Atlanta, Ga.
Galen Aldrich Posts Low Score for Year, 138.5 at Orange Co. National for $4,000.
Galen, Miami, Fla posted 73-72 for a Net 138.5 for $4,000.00 and his third Tour victory. This was the Tour's low net of the year under ideal conditions on the Panther Lake Course. Stephen Grant, Plantation, Fla was second with 70-69 Net 139.5 for $1,300.00. In third place tie for $700.00 each was Hugh Wright, Chicago, Ill, and Gabriel Menjivar, DeLand, Fla, In fifth was Dawit Proctor, Winter Garden, Fla. The overall field was very competitive with a two day battle for position.
Brian Sharrock Closes Strong for Net 143 and the Victory at Champions Club
Brian, of Southport, England with a 70 on Sunday for $4,000.00 topped Travis Dodson,Garden City, Mich. by 2.5, who won $1,200.00. Third at 148.0 was Jim Roche, W Palm Beach, Fla for $1,100.00 and Don Wright, Douglasville,Ga, and A J Walker, Ft Lauderdale, Fla tied for fourth at 149.0. Chris Sullivan, N Palm Beach, Fla was also in the money.
Cliff Kresge gains First IGTA Victory with Birdie in Playoff at Timacuan G.C. Veteran Professional Cliff Kresge, Kingsport, Tenn birdied the first playoff hole for the $4,000.00 First Prize. He posted 70-71 (Net 145.0), to win at Timacuan. Maurice Allen, Pine Hills, Fla, made a great move, with an even par 72 on Sunday to gain the playoff. This was his low round as a Professional and earned him $1,300.00. In a third place tie, Chris Sullivan, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla and Travis Dodson, Garden City, Mich netted 147.0 for $750.00 each. Hugh Wright, Chicago, Ill, Javier Sanchez, Fayetteville, Ga and Michael Utz, Longwood, Fla were also in the money.

There was a three way tie for third Bobby Stark, Dallas, Tex, Travis Lewis, Lake Mary, Fla for $600.00 each and Travis Dodson, Garden City, Mich at 153.0 for $700.00. They were followed by Ntengwa Mukosa and Michael Utz also cashing checks.
Javier Sanchez Posts Great Round at Santa Lucia River Club for $10,000.00
Javier, Fayetteville, Ga amazed the field with a 67 in the opening round on a course noted for high scores each year. His 67 Net 68.5 led to 145.5 total and a 5.5 stroke victory for $10,000.00. Second was a tie, Don Wright, Douglasville, Ga and Stephen Grant, Dover, England Net 151.0 for $3,000.00 each. In fourth place was Leo Coates II, Sunrise, Fla for $1,700.00. In a tie for fifth was Paul Wilson, Coconut Crk, Fla, and Jim Roche, W Palm Bch, Fla, at 153.5 for $1,300.00 each. Seventh was Tim O'Neal for $1,100.00 and Pat Patterson eighth for $1,050.00. Tied at ninth was David Morland IV and Eric Jenkins for $750.00 each. Montrele Wells, Anthony Addotta, Sly Leblanc, Mark Balasco, and Corey Henry were also in the money.
Marcus Manley Posts Solid Rounds to Win the Fall Championship and $10,000.
Manley, Washington D.C. Took the first place check with a two day 145 net score at Shingle Creek. It was more of survival golf with strong winds, rain and tough pins, but Manley out willed and out played the field to hang on for the victory. Gallop Franklin, Tallahassee, Fla and Bill Currence, Deltona also played steady to tie for second for 3000.00 each with 147.5. The rest of money as follows: Tom Edwards, 4th $1,500.00, Will Lowery and Scott Yancy III, with 5th place tie and $1075.00 each, Tony Infantino, 7th for $1,000.00. Also in the money were Nick Wade, Adrian Evans, Tommy Schaff, Kent Smith, Glenn Pound and Maurice Allen.
Chris Sullivan Wins a Battle for $8,000.00 with Net Even Par at Reunion Tradition
As usual Reunion Resort provided a great tournament. Windy with some rain thrown in made the conditions tough , but the course as always was in great shape. Chris Sullivan, Jupiter, Fla, taking home $8,000.00 made an eagle on 18 to win by the narrowest of margins over Stephen Grant ($3200.00). Kent Smith, Stanley Tilghman and Will Lowery tied for 3rd and made $1566.00 each. Rounding out the top 10 were, Gary Zarzycki $1000.00, Adrian Evans $600.00, Dennis Rasku $200, Bruce Holzberg and Tommy Schaff $100 each. The winning scores were all bundled up from 144 to 150 Net respectively, in a very tight event!
Archie Rolls On with Impressive Victory at Reunion Resort for $8,000.00
Shepherd Archie of Augusta, Ga won $8,000.00 with a net 137.5 for a 4.5 stroke victory. After playing his two year best for a win in March, he topped that with a 69-70 on the Nicklaus Course. Second was Leo Coates II, Sunrise, Fla, playing solid wih a 13 handicap and Net 142.0 for $3,000.00. Don Wright, Douglasville, Ga was third for $1,500.00 with Net 142.5. Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga was fourth for $1,100.00 with Net 143.0 and Wyatt Worthington II, Columbus, Ohio fifth for $1,000.00. The field played great with even par in sixth for A J Walker, Ft. Lauderdale and $600.00 Stephen Grant and Jim Roche were also money winners.
Mike Finsterle Wins $10,000.00 with Two Great Rounds at Timacuan Golf Club.
Finsterle of Houston, Texas in his seventh year with the IGTA Tour played his best with rounds of 72-73 for 138.5 Net. Tristan Seitz, Ocala, Fla. finished with even par 36 on his final 9 and Net 144.5 for a $3,000.00 second. Third was a tie for $1,350.00 each between Austin Ujhelyi, Flowery Branch, Ga and John Wolff, Stone Mountain, Ga. Robin Byrd, Fayetteville, NC took fifth for $1,100.00. David Morland IV, Palm Coast, Fla, was sixth $1,000.00. Also in the money was Bobby Stark, Dallas, Texas for $600.00, Jim Angeloff, Auburn Hills, Mich, Leo Coates II, Sunrise, Fla and Harold Heath, Lexington, SC.
Tommy Schaff's 151.0 Net Win's the Tour Championship and Points Championship Tommy Schaff of Savannah, Ga held on for the first place check of $5,000.00 and also won the 2018 Points Championship for $3,000.00. It was in a steady wind at Mission Inn El Campeon, and had a battle with David Morland IV, Palm Coast, Fla and Stephen Grant, Dover, England with 151.5 and 153.0 Net. Second paid $2,000.00, third $1,200.00 Tied for fourth were Benjamin Schneider, Hersey Penn, Matthew Almeida, and Jean Pierre Ely, Lake Mary, Fla for $935.00 each. Also in the money: Robin Byrd, Chris Barnett, Rocky Shipes, and Felix Rivera.

Jim Roche, W Palm Beach, Fla was fourth for $700.00 and Tommy Schaff of Savannah, and David Morland IV, Palm Coast, Fla were also in the money.
David Morland IV Holds on in the Wind at Champions Club for $4,000.00 First Prize Morland, Palm Coast, Fla. had the low round of 67 and then fought a 35 mph wind for 74 and a net 145.5. Robin Byrd, Fayetteville, NC, (69-75) was second with net 148.0 and $1,200.00 and Shepherd Archie, Augusta, Ga was third at 151.5 for $1,100.00. There was a tie for fourth Carroll Carter, So Riding, Va, and Jim Roche, W Palm, Fla for $450.00 each and then Willy Bonzon, Miami, Fla also in the money for $200.00. Morland was leading money winner in 2018 and starts off well for the 2019 IGTA Cup.
Michael Beaver posts his best IGTA Scores to win at ChampionsGate National Course for $7,000.00 Michael , of Citra, Fla played solid rounds of 70-72 for 138.5 Net. He edged out Travis Lewis, Lake Mary, Fla with 139.0 with posted rounds of 77-80 for $2,200.00. After several days of rain the greens were very receptive but, adjustments were made to compensate for no roll. Scores on Saturday were about the lowest in history which is a tribute to the competitive players. Third was Galen Aldrich, Miami, Fla back on his game for $1,500.00. Harold Stafford, Nashville,Tn was fourth for $1,100.00. In Fifth, at 143.0 for $1,000.00 was Francis Biondi, Oldsmar, Fla, and Trent Whitfield, W Columbia, SC for $800.00. Also in the money were Scott Yancy, III, Harold Heath and Mark Balasco.
Harold Stafford Gains His First IGTA Victory at Kinderlou Forest for $7,000.00 Harold, of Nashville, Tenn, posts 76-73 for a Net 139.0 to win the $7,000.00 First Prize. Second was Michael Beaver, Citra, Fla with a Net 143.0 for $3,000.00. Third place was a three way tie with Tyler Joiner, Albany, Ga, Chris Carr, Duluth, Ga, and David Healy, Port St Lucie, Fla Netting 144.0 for $1,200.00 each. Mark Contento, Robin Byrd and Tom Edwards were also in the money.
Will Lowery's Medalist Finish Wins the Florida Classic at Red Tail Golf Club Lowery of Charlotte, NC played fine rounds of 74-70 for 141.5 Net and $4,000.00. His two under 70 was his first sub-par round with the IGTA to earn the victory. Second was Ntengwa Mukosa, Lusaka, Zambia, with a 142.0 net for $1,200.00. Chris Sullivan, Jupitor, Fla took third for $1,000.00. Felix Rivera, Merritt Island, Fla was fourth for $600.00. Mike Finsterle, Houston, Tex. $200.00 also cashed checks.
Tommy Schaff Wins $4,000.00 First Prize with a Net 143.5 at Martin Downs Golf Club Tommy Schaff of Savannah, held on with rounds of 69-71 to win by half stroke over Mike Finsterle, (Houston, Tex.) at even par 144 net. Mike's second place was $1,200.00 Third was Galen Aldrich, Miami, Fla for $1,000.00 with 146.00 net. Rocky Shipes, Flowery Branch, Ga was fourth for $400.00 at net 149.5.
Trent Whitfield Goes Low for the Victory at The Disney Magnolia for $4,000.00 Whitfield, of W Columbia, SC, posts 79-76 for a Net 138.5 to win the $4,000.00 First Prize. Trent, has been with the IGTA since 2001 and scored his lowest gross ever for the big win. Second was Will Lowery, Charlotte, N.C. with a Net 141.0 for $1,200.00. Third place was Scott Yancy, St Louis, Mo, for $1,000.00. Felix Rivera, Merritt Island, Fla was fourth for $500.00 and Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga, fifth. Ken Duke, Stuart, Fla and Galen Aldrich, Miami, tied for sixth.
Blaine Bunch Wins $10,000.00 First Prize and the The IGTA CUP at Kinderlou Forest G C
Blaine, Savannah, Ga with rounds of 72-69 Net 142.0 won the $10,000 first prize and a Fine Trophy. An additional $1,400.00 went to the Points Leaders. Tommy Schaff, Savannah, Ga was the Points Leader heading up the qualifiers for the IGTA CUP. Schaff was also Second in this Tournament with 142.5 for $3,400.00. Benjamin Schneider, Hersey, Penn with 143.0 net was Third for $2,000.00. Fourth was a tie at even par 144 with Carroll Carter, South Riding, Va and Stanley Tilghman, Atlanta, Ga for $1,300.00 each. Sixth was Dominique Worthen, Memphis, Tenn with 145.0 for $1,000.00. Seventh was Jason Martin, Palm Coast, Fla for $800.00. Pillion of Villa Rica, Ga gains first win for $4,000.00. His even par 72 and Net 140.5 was his career best. At 144.0 was Adrian Evans, Jacksonville, Fla in second for $1,100.00 and Nick Wade, San Antonio, Tex was third also for $1,100.00. Raul Perez, Fairburn, Ga and Patrick Carter, Fayetteville, Ga. for fourth for $225.00 each.
Eric Jenkins Wins the $10,000.00 Prize in the NIT Tournament at Savannah Harbor.
Jenkins of Upper Marlboro, Md played solid golf for two days to gain the victory and the $10,000.00 prize. His 78-76 net 139.0, came in his 6th IGTA event, was for his first check. At 140.5 for second and $5,000.00 was Raul Perez, Fairburn, Ga who played his best golf in six years. Tim O'Neal, Savannah, Ga.was third for $3,000.00 closing with 31 on the final nine. Tim recently played the US Open at Chambers Bay. Fourth was Trent Whitfield, West Columbia, S.C. for $2,000.00, In a three way tie for fifth was PJ Carter, Fayetteville, Ga, Natalia Ghilzon, Windsor, Ont, Can, and Scott Yancy III, St Louis, Mo. each winning $1,233.00. Kevin Jones, Orlando, Fla and Adrian Evans, Jacksonville, Fla. tied for 8th at $1,050.00 each. Leo Coates, Sr, Herndon, Va. was 10th for $1,000.00. Also in the money were Travis Lewis, Carroll Carter, George Perry, Mike Yaeger and Ben Keith.

Pat Wasson, Moorpark, Calif. holds on for his 1st Tour victory over Scott Yancy, III, St Louis, Mo.and Christian Heavens, Fairview Hgts, Ill at ChampionsGate. Pat first joined the tour in 2003 and his Net 141.5. was good for $4,000.00 and Scott (142) and Christian(143) took home $1200. and $1100.
El Campeon - 151.0 Net Wins $4,500.00. Amga Chinbat, Ulaanbatar Mongolia with an 8 handicap (80-87) won the battle with the course, under nice conditions, as others also struggled. Dawit Proctor, Winter Garden was an exception moving from 18th to 2nd with 71 gross, 151.5 net on Sunday for $1,400.00. Third and 4th was Andrew Walker, Coral Springs and George Perry, Fairfield, Ala for $1,100.00 and $1,000.00.
El Campeon provides several highlights as Rocky Justice wins $5,000.00 with 145.5
Rocky of Gainesville, Fla with an 80 (70.6) on Sunday captured his second IGTA victory. Right behind with 146.5 was Alicia Weber, Novi, Mich. with a gross 73 for the medalist honor. This was her best round and finish on the Tour for a prize of $1,900.00. Third was a tie between Jim Angeloff, Auburn Hills, Mich. and Randy Erskine, Lake Orion, Mich for $1,150.00 and $1,250.00. Jim posted his fourth top four finish and leads the Points Race. Randy has averaged about $1,200.00 per tournament. Anthony Kuey, Chappiqua, NY and James Hodo, Atlanta, Ga. tied for fifth for $1,025.00 and $1,125.00. Ten players were in the money at this Mission Inn challenge.

Jim has been solid all year, as has Stephen Grant, Dover, England in second with 70-73 (145.5) for $2,000.00 Stephen is a favorite in most tournaments as demonstrated by his plus handicap.
